Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
I asked this question on the Great amnesty thread but no answer yet. So, I thought I'd ask here, too.
What in your opinion constitutes a high quality, high effort post?
I posed the same thought, and I also got no reply yet.
Good question, and I think I get your subtext, if you're laying some down.
Modding is hard work, and I imagine even more so at a controversial place like this. I'm sure mods use "low effort" as a blanket excuse to remove tangential or completely unrelated topics. And I'm sure some of these same topics sometimes slide through unremoved, depending on the mods' mood, further confusing posters.
So for instance, I know posting individual, not strictly DJT or Q related songs is against the rules. If one wanted to make a high effort post discussing these songs, they could, in theory, discuss the lyrics as being relevant to the movement, give a back story if the performer has had run ins or reactions from the cabal, or mention relevancy to the song or artist in the scheme of the controlled Industry opposition. Just dropping a YouTube link and title of "Check out this Jam!" would be low effort, and removable.
Mod discretion. I feel they do a pretty good job. 🤷♂️
Thanks. Nice description of a high effort but maybe not pertinent subject. So just posting a relevant headline with link and short commentary may not be high effort but it's not removed bc the subject is pertinent to what GAW folks want to discuss (and acceptable to mods).
It is a pertinent question; why put in the effort doing work, just to be told to go post it on conspiracies.win instead?
Lol....I've never been told that.
I like posts were people do a bunch of research, and then post their hypothesis and links to support the hypothesis. Also, I like when they challenge their own hypothesis, and present the other side as well. This is where people have the opportunity to really use their brains and think instead of being told what to do. Obviously Q, and world event topic oriented.
related to the Q drops or President Trump. with the drop posted if possible. and links to any sources. the more 'facts' the better. also don't think it should be about opinions too much. I skip over any shallow posts that show people haven't done their 'homework'. it's like being in school, you can tell who didn't 'read the book'🤦♀️
