Abbott is not compromised. He is stepping out of the way to let his LG do al the public work. If shtf he's in India and can just chill there. If the feds lose in the end (they will) Abbott comes back and will either declare Texas immediately sovereign or something like "As long as Trump is POTUS we will stay in the US".
Exactly. Also, good governors travel to foreign countries to drum up business in their states. Foreign trade, getting foreign companies to locate in their states and employ its citizens are all signs of an engaged governor.
And perhaps Abbott is taunting FJB, as if to say, "Sure it's a constitutional crisis, but I have people to take care of that... talk to the Lt. Governor, I'm currently out of the country."
What do the citizens of Texas care about India? Im not worried about things getting done while he's gone, but what earthly reason do we need to do business with India or any other country besides N America. And S America?
"Doing business" with a foreign country does NOT mean adopting their ways or anything else, other than a simple business arrangement. Examples include, but are not limited to, what if Texas wants to sell LNG to India? ...or what if an Indian business wants to expand operations in the West, and finds a home in Texas, thereby employing hundreds of Texans? Likewise, Toyota and Honda now build cars in America. Walther (German) and Beretta (Italian) now make guns in America...and they hire AMERICANS to do so. See the possibilities?
As long as they don’t move here. Trust me you don’t want East Indians to move in mass to your town. The curry they cook destroys every apartment and condo complex.
Yep! Joe Schmoe can't blame Abbott since Abbot is out of the country and Dan Patrick (who would make an amazing Governor) is showing America how to run a country and defend a border.
So easy to do it right that a caveman could do it. But not FJB, that's for sure. As the Irish-Kenyan O'Bama said, "Never underestimate Joe's ability to f#*k things up."

I've started calling him Hussein like Q did. There must be a reason so I figure, why not.
Possible. It’s tough to keep up with all the angles. Good take.
He could legally be arrested for human trafficking illegals across state lines. No matter who's side you're on, to the letter of the law, he broke it.
