I paid attention and Bolton clearly is not saying we are in President Trump’s second term. He is trying to scare people into not voting for President Trump by claiming POTUS will never relinquish power if he is elected this year
The fact that 98% of the people who have upvoted and commented on this post don't understand this is crazy. He's clearly referring to Trump trying to remain in office beyond the next 4 years. We have some of the dumbest smart people here.
Trump hasn't ever said anything about wanting to do two more terms. And he knows he can't. But yet you want to twist this into something that's not even come up.
What has come up is that Trump won. And it's becoming apparent that they know "he has it all" and they are trying to get ahead of that.
I'm not twisting it into anything. Bolton is predicting that if Trump wins, he will "launch an effort to amend the constitution" to allow himself to serve more than two terms.
Your take is every bit as speculative as any other.
You presuppose that's what Bolton means by the comment, but it is not 'clearly' defined as that in the comment itself.
It takes as much waffling to arrive at your conclusion as to arrive at the 'idea' he might be referencing the idea Trump is currently serving [in some capacity] in a second term.
I lean toward "military is in control" because Trump doesn't want the results of 2020-2024 as a part of his legacy.
Your take is every bit as speculative as any other.
No, its not. It does NOT require massive presuppositions and outlandish theories, whereas your interpretation does.
Thunderbolt is not 'presupposing' what Bolton means. He's simply interpreting it in context, in a way that makes sense with everything else that is going on. The idea that Trump is currently in his 2nd term makes no sense because in fact, yes, the constitution bars him from being inaugurated a 3rd time.
you cannot have it both ways. Either trump is NOT in his second term as president and he cannot run and be inaugurated in 2025, or he is not in his second term - officially, legally, and formally - as potus, and he CAN run and win and be inaugurated for a 2nd term in 2025.
Trump's allusions to a 'second term' - "this is kind of like my second term" - points squarely to devolution, and devolution most likely means that the authorities of the executive branch have been devolved and spread out into other sectors of the govt, so that the current president - who is president but who is in fact illegitimate - is restricted in what he can do and is not really in charge. because the authority of the president aka the executive branch, has been devolved.
Additionally - the headline at the bottom of the screen also defines the conversation taking place.
Unfortunate that on a board dedicated to finding truth, that people are behaving like typical "red team/blue team" monkeys instead of internet sleuths.
Although I'm still on here every single day and looking at lots of info raised - the amount of unresearched/spun posts is growing.
I associate that with either infiltrator psyops - which certainly does happen, but also a wave of new people (which ultimately is good).
At some point, as the truth comes out in "normie-land" that what we're investigating here is that truth - the more normie's we'll attract - and with that, the conversation realms will look more similar to each other than they have... think of mixing waters that were previously separated.
So - while frustrating - the pattern of conversation evolution is... ultimately encouraging, I guess? Lol...
Every time I feel frustration - I keep reminding myself just how REAL "You can't tell them, you Must Show Them." is.
That statement is truly something to really think about and drill down on what that means - what it meant for yourself - what it means now for yourself - and what that means for other people - and how then we should proceed as the conversation here goes through those evolutions.
Mostly rambling here with thoughts... but it feels like some of us share these same struggles/thoughts - so hopefuly this share helps someone beyond me. ;)
Very true. It seems like he genuinely had the DS rattled. So much so, they staged the January 6th false flag hoping it would enable removing POTUS through the 25th Amendment that day. It’s incredible they feared his last two weeks in office that much. But, after all the hype and angst he walked away.
Thank you. Sometimes, folks just hear what they wanna hear.
if we are in Trump's "2nd term", its a devo term, and Trump is officially NOT the potus, but the powers of the executive branch have, to some extent been devolved so that Biden is restricted on what he can do.

Emotion is a hell of a drug.

Actually Trump did joke around about a third term. Some something along the lines of “dare I say three terms?”

Does the military "lean" on Trump for advice?
Absolutely!
The clip needs context by seeing the prior 30-60 seconds.

Cheers, Frens
It's amazing they still push this. They tried pushing this narrative in 2020, and he...... left.
