This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.

In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way

This whole thing is a slippery slope. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to get into alignment with any type of spirit that I’m not aware of, or know nothing about. Even Satan can come disguised as an angel of light.

PS for the record, I have actually met Jacob Angeli, add an event down at our capital. He seems like a super nice guy, but that doesn’t mean that he’s - saved. Praying for his salvation, and that he will serve the one true God instead of the spirits that he is trying to manifest.
Agreed! I’ve heard meditation where they open chakras is opening yourself up to spiritual realms and it’s not for God. Essential oil companies sell blends for this purpose. I’m not saying the companies are satanic. I believe they are just marketing to people that do this to make a dollar. In my opinion meditation is to much like pagan religions. Nothing I want to play with. There’s nothing wrong with sitting in silence to calm the mind but it’s a fine line.
