“Claiming to be” is not “is”. There are construction workers and bakers and restauranteurs who are most certainly well among the proper path, among others.
By the time we’re done here, there may be people who’ve gone much farther than that.
If we’ve learned anything from the education debacle of the last 70+ years, it’s that accreditation and titles shouldn’t just be accepted at face value.
It isn’t a title or coat or crown or claim that makes a king, but the walk, and there’s been at least one divine king.
