Funny how the main argument for the monarchy that I see is “muh tourism”
Because apparently people come to see places like Buckingham Palace because they’re actually occupied by royals, not just remnants of a bygone era. If I were to go see it, that would be cool to think about, but not a determining factor. They could probably open up more properties for tourism if the monarchy was abolished.
This the same thing I have been telling my sister all these years. America aka USA has so much to offer and to see. One of the examples is Mount Rushmore, how about the Adirondacks? I lived in upstate NY it is beautiful.
I’m 100% ethnically Northern European, my earliest ancestors originated in Scandinavia. But last year I spent over half a month in Japan because I wanted to.
Funny enough I visited the Kerama Islands where the US began the invasion of the home islands, which my great grandfather was a part of. So I guess you can call that a connection, but it’s not why I went (and I didn’t know this until after the fact).
There's only two reasons I'd go to France. One, to pay homage to our fallen, of both wars, buried at Normandy and the 10 other US cemetaries. Second, to find de Gaulle's grave and relieve myself.
Correct and I'm English. Lived in Oz for years and when they had a referendum to dump them Aussie mates and colleagues would ask me my opinion on the Referendum and be almost embarrassed as though they would upset me.
My answer of 'I have been a British Republican for years never mind Australian' would always be fun.
The sooner these dipshits understand there is no such thing as royalty the better.
But there IS.
It just ain’t them. They stole, lied, and murdered for what they have. That’s not how valid kingship is attained.
I would say that’s how every kingship in human history was attained.
That is how ALL kingships are attained. Charles is on the same level as Kim Jong Un. Hereditary dictatorship is another name for royalty
Not all. There is the path of righteousness.
Isaiah 40:3 The voice of one who cries, Prepare you in the wilderness the way of the LORD; make level in the desert a highway for our God.
Few have taken it, but it is here.
Not a single mortal soul claiming to be royal has gotten there on a divine path..

I have zero desire to travel through Europe and see what is there.
Far too many things to see in the US for me to want to see stuff that I have zero connection to.
You are probly 99% anglo saxon by blood...🙄 but k. Deny all of heritage.
I happen to be American Indian with a BIA roll number, so I doubt that.

I wouldn't mind meeting some east European women !
Ukraine girls leave the west behind.
Ha!
Good point.
Or turn them into museums like Louis XIV Louvre
I'd like to see the catacombs under Westminster Abbey someday. That's it for London, I think.
Imperial War Museum and Churchill War Rooms as well. Very cool
That’s the only reason I wanna visit Paris is the catacombs
☠😳☠No Way!
In a way, there IS royalty. I have known and worked with plenty of royal dipshits in my lifetime.

Only King Trump!
