I get that their system is different, but I'm pretty sure there is no legitimate grounds for the Supreme Court to be taking that level of independent action.
Assume total tyrannical power via the courts with this one weird trick! Yeah sadly, they fooled the people into empowering the judges with ludicrous amounts of unilateral authority, much more than the president.
