It didn't use to be and it won't be in the future. Mickey Mantle and Chris Everett didn't get treated this way, and a decade from now -- or much sooner, I hope -- this neurotic, malicious hatred for the genuine hard-earned success of anyone not in a favored group will be just a bad memory.
Is it? Apparently the WNBA is cliquish and will probably torpedo this woman's career.
