He told me that the first doctor he saw wanted to give him Flu, and Covid jab. I told him he should tell the hospital he never wanted to see that doctors face again, or have any interaction with him. He felt same way.
He has a friend that is a doctor who is helping him to get the very best surgeon at Shands, Gainsville, Fl, so I think he is in good hands now, but nothing as powerful as believers prayers.
Prayers just sent, Duck. Let us know how it goes.
This. And if your brother doesn't have one, encourage him to buy a lift chair that's comfortable enough to sleep in. Good friend through 4 bypass surgery and swears the chair was literally a life saver in his home recovery. My husband had a fall which dislodged his hip and required 6 months of restricted movement. Home treatment wouldn't have worked without that chair.
Lift chair? Gravity chair?
It's a recliner that will go all the way back for sleeping and then in the seat position the back lifts so you can get out of the chair without using your arms and chest, stomach muscles. In that position you can back into the chair without using stomach and leg muscles. It's also called a medical chair. For someone recovering, it forces sleeping on your back and lifts legs sufficiently to help prevent leg cramps and clots.
Ah, never heard of it. T/u.
