The obsession with expedience is something you see a lot with the Ukraine War, such as Kiev in 3 days blather. Doing things correctly the first time takes effort, planning and discipline. Sometimes I wonder how humanity made it this far, given the need for long term planning for agriculture and projects like cathedrals.
Watching Fani Willis on the witness stand was a good reminder of the wheels of justice moving slowly, but our enemy is so drunk on power and stupid that my estimation of evential outcome is in the positive.
The wheels of justice grind slow but sure.

Justice usually takes decades when it comes to corrupt politicians.
