At the end of the day, flags are representations of governments, not the citizenry. When you flew a flag bearing the Union Jack, would-be pirates or opposing navies would know that it was the military of that government, and the authority given to them, that protected that ship.
In the face of that, I bet on Trump, even when the opposing side bears our flag.

I think in this specific case, I would like to bet against the flag if the flag is a part of trying to destroy the man who best represents its values.
