My in laws in NV had their vote stolen from them from the Republican caucus voting last week. Accirding to my in laws the Rep party sent out automatic mail in ballots. My in laws ripped them up and voted in person. They just checked and somehow magically only their mail in ballot counted and the in person wasnt counted and didnt override the fraud vote someone sent in. Fraud!!!!!!
What can they do to fight this? They called and didnt get much info. Please send me suggestions!
What about reaching out to NV legislature?
https://www.leg.state.nv.us/
At the very least they need to contact their state rep & senator.
I would think they should also call the attorney general & sheriff to make formal complaints so it is documented.
Maybe politely demand the name of the individual who counted their vote from the county Clerk, or demand to know if it was the clerk who counted the vote they never made/fraudulent vote. Tell the sheriff who counted that vote, or who is blocking you from finding out why their vote was cast incorrectly
Also contact O'keefe Media Group.
They are mostly Dems and the Republicans that are there don't seem to do much. Thank goodness our Legislature only meets every two years - although the Dems are trying to change that. We did have a legislature a few years ago that was one vote shy of a super majority for the Dems. Why? I blame the Republicans. For years the Legislature had more of a balance between the two parties moving by a couple of seats either way every few years. Even our US Senators represented both parties - one of each. With the recession the Republican controlled Legislature, at the instigation of the RINO governor, pushed through a business margins tax. This unfair percentage allocation levied against certain classes of business hit smaller companies really hard. Of course the hospitality and tourist industries had a very low percentage - think casinos. The passage of this tax simply ate up the narrow profit margins of these small businesses. It was shocking the number of of them that closed in the following couple of years. Some of these local shops had been around for decades and were a familiar sight in the community.
The voter backlash against the Republicans was huge. The Legislature swung Dem and has not changed. I had the opportunity to speak with a couple members of the Legislature that were present at the time and asked them what the hell they were thinking when they voted for that piece of crap. I was not impressed with their answer. The governor pushed it and assured them it would be okay despite their concerns. They knew it was a bad bill but voted for it anyway. Now we have the Dems in power and once they get a foothold, they don't let go. They rig the system even more than it was before. It is Nevada after all.
