Subject: Change Healthcare
Description: Change Healthcare is experiencing a network interruption related to a cyber security issue.
As a result, Office Ally has temporarily suspended all transaction connectivity (to and from) with Change Healthcare until the issue is resolved. This includes the exchange of Eligibility, Claims, Claim Status, Remits, and any other electronic transactions. Multiple payers are impacted by this issue.
We will provide updates as more information becomes available. Additionally, you can check Change Healthcare's dashboard for updates:
UPDATE:
As an additional precaution, Office Ally has also suspended all transactions to/from Optum until the issue is resolved. You may continue to send claims as you normally would to Office Ally and we will hold them until connectivity has been restored. Real-time Eligibility transactions impacted by the outage will return the following message in Service Center: 'Payer Unable to Respond at Current Time'.

If I remember correctly, #3 was cyber attack. Now how would they know that was coming unless they are parties to that plan and its deployment?

Everything is always under attack. Phishing, ransomware, malware, DDOS, etc. That's why companies like Cloudflare and anti-virus makers exist.
