Many people are frustrated that the sheeple won't wake up. I think it is more likely that Tulsi or RFK would wake left-leaning sheeple up before anyone on the right will.

People change. And besides that, true leadership is having personal beliefs, but not letting those get in the way of what is lawful and constitutionally protected. If Trump were to pick her, I will trust him to aim her more are foreign policy affairs such as NATO, and leaving the domestic issues to him.
