You know, I really do get tired of dealing with Catholic ideologies.
At least Christianity doesn't have a centralized church known for its debauchery and corruption under someone who literally calls themselves the voice and will of God himself.
The two often are conflated, and this is by design. From what I know so far the two are absolute polar opposites, but I'm not at the level yet where I'd feel comfortable explaining it all. Hopefully I come to the point soon, and I do have a ton of comments on this site already. Just need to thread them all together properly, it's such a tangled web
For me, it boils down to the difference between faith (Christianity), and religion (Catholic, Baptist, Methodist, etc.) Religion is of man, and is bound to fail, and be open for corruption. I feel like I can shun religion while being true to my faith, my love of Christ.
