Something seems off. Two bearded Guardsmen side by side looking like twins and another looking like a female Guardsman with a ski mask. I'm not sure if beards and ski masks are allowed when on duty. Does anyone have the facts on military protocol in NY?
Sorry just realized these are black guardsmen. Black people in the military are allowed facial hair because shaving causes nasty razor bumps to become extremely visible on their skin.
That would be hilarious if they outright said blacks can have beards but whites can’t. The truth is it’s just a medical exemption. Not based on race. Although yes you’re right blacks are more likely to receive that exemption because of genetics.
Well yeah they call it a medical exemption but it's more along the lines of the military doesn't want to see the razor bumps blah blah. One of my friends is an Army recruiter, it's crazy the shit he comes up with.
We got sent to on base barber when we showed up with hair that was a bit long. Facial hair was limited to a severely trimmed mustache.
Turns out the on base barber was about 25 and really pretty and nice. We were gone quite a while.
Please don’t throw me into that briar patch again.

As for the woman covering her face, no idea.

Would the beards be required to be very short under those circumstances?
They are still required to be trimmed, but they don't need to be clean-shaven.

Hey, I got that reference.
The optics on the rifle looks more suitable for long range field combat. It doesn't seem practical for close quarters subway security.
That's not a long range optic.
Looks like the standard M68 CCO (red dot close combat optic)...
Thanks for the information about the optic.
Black plate carrier’s?
I have no idea.
