Once again, the FED is the Foreign Exchange Department in banks-i.e. moneychangers-the scourge of the earth.. Gold simplifies the exchange rates...
I don't think it's because of weaponized use of sanctions, more than it's because a worldwide currency collapse is coming and every country's going to need as much physical wealth as possible if it's going to survive.
Every country is about to start treating gold the way the Shanghai exchange does.
