From the GAW perspective: What was the grand scheme of Trump's presidential support for Israel?
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
I have some very confused friends who are disappointed with Trump because of his support for Israel during his first term in office. I need help in figuring out how to explain to them the grand scheme of his support for Israel completely un-laced of any hint of conspiracy.
I disagree. If America takes an all encompassing isolationist stance for the majority of the Middle East that doesn't necessarily equate to complete chaos and war throughout the region.
If Israel wants to buy weapons let them buy them from Russia, Europe, China, etc. We don't have to support them militarily, nor any other country for that matter.
Again I'd stress, why can't they simply buy weapons from a different nation?
Yeah, that's just simply not true. Saudi Arabia was ready to sign an acknowledgement and universal peace accord days before the October incident. All Israel had to do was acknowledge a two state agreement but then the Oct 7th event conveniently scrapped the entire accord.
I see you're quite misinformed.
Fyi, there have always been Christian Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrian, Egyptian, etc. They're respected and protected by Muslims.
In Israeli however, they get spit on by Jews.
You really ought to review your database.
According to the World Watch List, which tracks and ranks the countries in which Christians suffer the most persecution, Syria is #12 and Egypt is #38. Perhaps they are not as respected and protected as you would like people to believe. Israel is not on the list.
