Reports of Travel Disruptions and FAA advisories.
Road Closures
Concerns over draws on the power grid.
Delays in Emergency Response. Particularly in areas in the path of totality.
State and County level Emergency Management Agencies are urging residents to get important prescriptions filled prior to and have 1-2 Weeks worth of Groceries. Not to mention setting important medical appointments several days before or after the Eclipse
Warnings about Stress and people having short tempers
Concerns about credit card payment systems. Leading to Agencies advising to have cash on hand.
Law Enforcement Reserve being mobilized in areas where such groups exist for that period of time. National Guard Call Ups.
Reportedly the DOD has been making noise about recalls of Veterans and mobilizing more Military reserves. Officially it’s not related. But it’s awfully convenient it hit the News cycle at the same time. The News over eclipse preparations did.
None of the above were ever a concern or topic leading up to the 2017 eclipse…why now?

I am on the centerline, our sheriff gave us notice today to stock up on medicines, food, water, and fuel. He stated anywhere from 5000 to reports of 30k people coming to our little town. Said to expect communication and internet outages. Pharmacy called today and said they are filling all scripts now to be ready for pick up by end of week… 2 more weeks and this is either the most watched eclipse and God is telling us something or it’s just another day traveling through space…
