This is a tough one. That bridge was lit up by allot of lights. No doubt communications cable also. Those sparks can also be attributed to that. Not saying this guy is wrong, just pointing out the obvious electrical connections.
Yes, this could be an explanation, but electricity would cut in one place, and then there would not be any, down the line, for more explosions. Does that make sense?
