“Sum of all fears” connection to Bridge
🤔💭 Theory 😲💡
A Nuke is detonated by in Baltimore by Neo-Nazis. In order to provoke a Hot War between the U.S and Russia.
The Bomb is manufactured in Ukraine. And sent via ship to Baltimore.
What is now closed? The Port of Baltimore. Vessels are being rerouted to neighboring Ports. Where they’ll be subject to new Customs inspections.
I’ll be first to admit I initially made the connection due to a Twitter post mentioning the ships and their cargo would be subject to new inspections further snarling up the congestion at neighboring ports.
I may be wrong but the ship was leaving port, not arriving. So technically speaking the chance for something to go off at port had already passed.
Perhaps when considering this event, it is to put it in a larger framework:
How to redirect traffic to a different port? How to trigger tighter inspections?
Of course you could blow up a bridge. But that would trigger a different response. If the access is prohibited by " an accident" of a medium of transport? It takes less and the effect is the same.
Then there is another angle. Perhaps the event worked to well. And what if the panic mode, if I am not mistaken, it seemed an anchor was dropped?, so what if the latter was not planned on at all? Would that ship have gone right as she goes?

Interesting stuff. Look at the depths. If it had gone right as she goes, the ship would have gone to 9 - 6 meters of water, while the other side remains at 15 ....
What if the object was to impair the reception of the goods. What was being transported, to where and to who?
How about the congestion on the others roads/bridges that will follow? What was the state of the bridge to date? Was it meant to be maintained/ replaced? Omnibus spending?
There may be more angles to this thing all gearing to the same outcome.
