Exactly, if there were an infinite number of days before today, today would never be reached. Since today has been reached, it suggests that the past is not infinite, supporting the idea that the universe had a beginning.

How do you know time would be that way in a universe with no beginning? Maybe it is our human illusion to experience past, present and future. We simply find ourselves existing now and that is no contradiction. There is no end or "other side."
