They should have said the rotation is speeding up. Too many people I know including my own kids say that it feels like time is speeding up.

They wasted a perfectly good opportunity to scare the idiots.

I said to my dad many years (decades) ago now that it seemed as if time was passing more quickly. He told me that time would continue to pass faster and faster as I got older.

I thought: what an idiot, but, as usual, he was 100% correct! The whole of winter just flashed past this year.
