The antiquated and obsolete 1600's English dialect has nothing to do with the original Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek languages in the manuscripts. This dialect obscures the meaning of the text. I love Trump, but the NKJV would have been a better choice.
I'll probably be blasted for this post. But the languages used in the manuscripts were in the dialect of the common people. Why introduce obsolete English verbiage that has nothing to do with the original writings?
Because that's the version that is public domain. They don't have to pay to use it.
Lmao, the bibles that came out of it are highly adulterated and inaccurate translations. Kjv 1611 has enough of its own adulterations but the bibles that translated from it are 10 times worse.
If you're going to be picky, you should go with Legacy Standard.
Stongs Concordia has both the Hebrew and Greek translations of the King James Bible texts. Check it out. Much blood was shed to bring the KJV to pass. Blood cries out to God.
