... you are aware that we don't use the same time system right? Different number of days etc. The point is, a faith in God, worship God trust in God. We don't earn our wat to heaven. So don't worry if what you are doing is on the wrong day.
Yes, faith, worship and trust in God… doesn’t change the point that we don’t use the same time system, number of days, and God only knows what else, because we’ve been lied to consistently.
I love the tradition and celebrations for Christmas and Easter as much as anyone else. But the harsh fact remains that those traditions and celebrations are based on pagan rituals — and I struggle with that because it is likely sinful.
Inconvenient truth, but still truth
That's partially false, many of the claims of rituals you say are pagan that Christians adopted are false. It's reversed. Many Christian holidays were taken and made pagan.
The more we ignore the lies, or pass them off as innocent or no big deal because we’re still worshipping God and our hearts are in the right place, the more we allow the lies to persist — making us complicit in furthering the lies for generations to come.
This is why we study history in context and with zeal. You say lies are persistent? Which ones specifically? And what nases are you using to determine what's a lie and what's the truth?
well stated.
And the pagan rituals and myths are based on primitive astronomy. Read about astrotheology.
People remember stories better than numbers. How would you teach children about the cycles of the sun and moon?
