I was saying the same thing recently to my friend. We were discussing how nasty Hollywood was and whether they had any positive contribution at all, and thats when I said to him that at least one Movie had an incredible contribution. If there was no Matrix movie, it would have been almost impossible to communicate with each other about the kind of World we live in. You can literally say to a stranger you recently met "Don't you sometimes feel like we live in a Matrix" and they would know exactly what you mean, and if they are even remotely awake would be a launch pad for all the other discussions to follow!
Absolutely. You can say to people "have you taken the red pill?" And, if they are even a smidgen awake they'll know exactly what you mean. It's a movie that broke through the Matrix!! 🐸
Yep! I believe that was the WH agenda behind this movie, while the BHs were using this for comms.
How does that work, how does the WH do that under the nose of the BH?
Every movie has multiple writers in addition to the main writers. They have their own dramas and agendas. All WHs have to do is to insert one person who influences a certain way, while not grating on the agendas of the others. Of course, if they over step, then there will price to pay from the top - think Eyes Wide Shut. Even in Matrix I believe people were punished after the fact.
Now that you mention it, it is pretty incredible how pervasive the terminology of the movie is throughout society.
Without it, people would be clambering to put into words things that are perfectly encapsulated by the movie and hence by the terms it uses.
Sounds like evangelism, come to Jesus moment.
My Jesus moment was only after I found Q and rewatched Passion of the Christ again.
