Islamic fundamentalism is a fairly recent phenomenon in Iran. There are people there my age that remember a far more secular culture. Go back and look at pictures from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Look at how Iranian expats live in this country today. Islam was imposed on the Iranian people just as LGBTQ culture (you could even call it a religion, it is very like one) is being imposed on us.
I'm not "religious,"(nor am I anti religious) however, I am interested in some ways you would consider "LGBTQ culture" to be very much like a religion...that is, if you don't mind elaborating. Thanks
