I have deep empathy and sympathy for this person, assuming she is earnest in this post. Because I am a human and not a monster.
I hope we will walk out of this Valley of the Shadow of Death, together. The "unvaxxed" (not sure there is any such thing anymore), and the "vaxxed" (whatever that means, these days).
"If I speak with the tongues of men, and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
And if I should have prophecy and should know all mysteries, and all knowledge, and if I should have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing." - Corinthians
It is also written Do not cast your pearls before swine. The vaxxed had access to the same info as the unvaccinated. They chose to ignore it. They were cowardly and did not stand up when fellow Americans were persecuted. And many of them will do the same thing again. Pray for them but keep it moving. Bullies always want sympathy when they get caught. But they never repent. . Charity cannot overcome a lack of common sense and personal responsibility. Charity expects results and healing. The Word says to forgive,it doesn't say forget. Jesus can heal anyone that believes. We should not be made to feel bad when others do dumb stuff. They need to get to Jesus. We displayed charity when we tried to warn them. People are not monsters for feeling resentment. It's a human response to folk ruining other folks lives. .
Yep. I am also inclined towards this one as well.
"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words: going forth out of that house or city shake off the dust from your feet." Mathew 10:14
Right on Marvin. We didn't cry or whine we Stood Up. We were mocked and scorned terribly and threatened. We aren't doing that to vaxxed people.
Many of the unvaxxed ARE doing those things to people who took the vax. Even in this very thread.
That scripture tells us that if someone refuses to listen to us when we speak truth, rather than continue to waste our time, we should move on and find others to speak the truth to. It doesn't say that we shouldn't feel regret and sympathy or refuse to show compassion and love to the person who refused to listen.
Agreed.
I didn’t get any grief from anyone on it, but it was also all I could do to keep it away from my immediate family.
Didn’t someone post this in full on this board a few days ago?
Yes
Which "this", the video or the Bible quote? In either case, I didn't see it.
The Twitter post that the lady is reading.
Coulda sworn I’d already seen it here.
