Suddenly everyone has automatic weapons in every direction (no one in the USA, effectively, has automatic weapons). Fighting a battle involves doing mag dumps in every direction from static positions, with no targets identified. An Apache feels the need to fly right into the middle of that killbox and hover. When it instead could take out that entire block from a mile away.
this is so stupid, no one would ever fly an apache in close like that to engage, and dont' get me started on that Gatling
I was trying to resist saying that. The entire everything of this scene could only have been created by people who know nothing about war or weapons.
Their consultant was the directors 12 year old nephew
That seems about right.

Uh huh.
LOL, as IF we aren't the Original Snipers of the World....
To bring in ANY Bird that close is just suicide on the Pilots part, two stores above him would be a sniper just itching for ""The Shot""....
Not to mention all the Walls around the bird would be saying ""Welcome to the Ground fly boy""....
And a huge tank with the TC and Ma Deuce gunner just lounging on top of the cupola just begs for a Snipers attention....
And the whole scene stinks of Ambush all the way through, and not in a good way where the advancing forces have any chance of actually winning....
