Curious why your family is nervous today? Do they watch online videos that say the rapture is today?
Why should followers of Christ fear the departure? It is our blessed hope.
The idea of being separated from loved ones or facing the unknown aspects of the end times can make people fearful?
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7
I’ve written a few times on post-tribulation being widely ignored because it involves the most trouble, effort, and faith.
Which is exactly why we should hope for it. Modern church is pretty lazy, though, so there is a big hope that a free pass shows up.
I’m not the most scripturally literate, but it doesn’t seem to say that’s going to happen to me.
