We have to bring our nation back from the brink, and that’s where it is.
It’s at the brink, and we will, we will do it. I promise you, we will do it.
Statement Sauce.
Brink
Brink refers to the edge or the point where something is about to happen or change. It is the point where one is at the verge of something, be it success or failure. It is the point where one has the opportunity to take action and make a difference. Brink is often associated with a sense of urgency and the need for immediate action.
Precipice
Precipice, on the other hand, refers to a steep or overhanging cliff or rock face. It is a dangerous place where one can easily fall off and suffer serious injury or death. Precipice is often used metaphorically to describe a situation where one is at risk of experiencing a major setback or failure. It is a point of no return, where the consequences of one’s actions are severe and irreversible.
What about the 6 thousand years of children being raped and tortured to death? Crying out to one and only one set of ears. Most of them had not heard of Jesus, or knew anything about praying, but I'm sure, it was a cry for help, in any language. That same set of ears could understand.
You’re holding God to a standard that He is not held to. If we’re going to make comparisons, accusing the Son of God of being a blasphemer and then killing Him is far worse than any war or rape of any human being.
You will never win this argument. You are incapable. It is not capable of being won on the side of human beings/sinners. Never going to happen.
I'm saying, we do not know the whole truth. These people have owned the printing companies for years. The bible has been translated from hebrew to english and many different versions, since. What we are reading has, at least, been twisted. Maybe more. The God and Jesus, that I believe in can handle me asking questions. That is how He made me after all. The same kind of questions that brought everyone to this site. "Everything that you have been told is a lie." Some people think fear is the main way they control the masses, how about guilt and shame? Always saying we are all sinners and we belong in hell. WTF? He loves all of us, correct? He knew us while we in the womb, correct? Why then would he make us this way and then send us to hell for E. T. E. R. N. I. T. Y., if he loves us? The narrative does not add up.
Because none of it holds up to questioning. The atrocities throughout history that occurred...where was God stepping in to help?
Or is it one of those "well without the shots he would be less dead than the other guy"
So either God is one hell of a pacifist, straight up evil like Satan, or doesn't exist. Or is an alien, not the all omnipotent omnipresent being we were told. So their scope will be far more limited.
We are responsible for our own sin. While it is true we inherited the sin nature from Adam, we choose to sin, delight in sin, and are culpable for sin. Blaming God (as Adam did, in part by the “woman you gave me”) does not help you and your accusations will not exist on the day you stand before God and give account of your sin. In your mind, you might convince yourself you are able and willing to do so, but it will never happen. Nobody will blame God. None are able and no accusation will stand.
Being Creator and Savior, making us in the womb, knowing us and loving us, sending His own beloved Son to die for us is all the more reason to turn to Him and believe in Christ as Savior and seek forgiveness and eternal life in His comfort.
The only way you are currently accepting His existence is according to your own fallen and inconsistent and illogical standard/worldview/presupposition… which only worsens your condition.
I'm tellin' ya, "We are missing some vital information."
This is all based on the one of the many versions of the bible that you are reading. Have you ever looked around at the rest of God's creation?
Why do I 'choose to sin'? God made us this way, He could have done it differently, He could undo it at any time, instead He decides to punish some of us for eternity, right after making us?
Besides, if you are non-catholic, I thought, "you are saved by grace, not by actions." So, it would not matter how 'good' you are, whether you sin or not. You need only to 'believe' in Jesus.
That leads to this, a baby being tortured has never heard of Jesus, because he can't understand english, yet, goes to hell, while the torturer, who believes in Jesus, and is afraid of his name, goes to heaven.
