When I found GAW, it was in early 2021 or late 2020. I was scared to death due to the stolen election and the J6 false flag. I was just beginning to listen to X22 Report and And We Know. I started reading Q in late summer of 2020 and had a handle on the whole operation, but I was still very scared. Unfortunately, I missed out on Voat. Reading GAW gave me more perspective on the battles we are fighting, and some valuable information. Since then, my relationship with God has become much stronger, I discovered the Devolution series and Righteous Russia, leading me to following Badlands Media (which is absolutely worth checking out, if you haven't already). Watching things slowly fall apart for the "cabal" has instilled hope for me, and I'm prepared to see another election stolen - but this time I will be at peace knowing that the declas operation is at play. The conversion of Twitter to X has been a great example of how they are losing this war. Having said that...
When I first was on GAW, there were posts that had updoots in the high hundreds and some in the low thousand. I've noticed traffic here slowing down quite a bit. I think X and Truth Social have something to do with that, but I also think that many, like myself, have moved onto larger non-Q oriented conspiracy topics, some of which could get you in trouble on GAW. I think people have gotten weary of waiting for this movie to end. I still check GAW a few times a day, but not with the same enthusiasm. I don't think I'm alone.
I do want to say that GAW has been my saving grace (literally), and when this all starts to accelerate, I hope people come back here to share information and support each other. Thank you so much for being there for me.
Decreased GAW traffic is partly due to having fewer actionable issues than in 2020/ 2021. Back then there was plenty of work to do in gathering and analyzing 2020 election fraud evidence, and warning people away from the shitvaxx. Nowadays people have settled into either the large group who have accepted the truth about those things, or into the smaller group of delusional denialists or unprincipled people who enjoy election fraud and depopulation. It’s largely futile to debate the psychotic or the wicked.
It’s a turn-off that there is even such a thing as “trouble” on GAW. A couple years ago. GAW’s lack of censorship was very attractive to imaginative and ornery dissenters. The mods did ok in filtering out the low-level and obvious trolls and shills, who don’t even care about “trouble” because they’re just low-effort hit & runners or bots. The people who care about mod trouble are the at-least-somewhat loyal commenters whose topics and styles are unnecessarily restricted by Officer-Cartmanesque abuse of mod authoritah.
I don’t agree with dooming or flat-earth, I’m skeptical about topics like space aliens, and I’m open-minded about chemtrails. I don’t think these or other topics should be banned for fear of optics or public relations, lol. Let the forum decide if unsupported posts should slide down the rankings into obscurity, and let earnest and unrestricted debate set precedents of which viewpoints will inevitably garner embarrassment.
Perhaps even worse than the banning of possibly laughable topics is the punishment of style. Banning someone for being “uncivil” is ridiculous. It’s in line with the tyrannical “hate speech” enforcements that are currently sprouting in most of clown world. We should be better than clown world if we want an active board of dissent against cabal. Actual crime speech, such as when GoingCamaro threatened to murder another GAW commenter, should be dealt with. Interestingly, it wasn’t the mods who cracked down on GoingCamaro in that instance, perhaps because it was a couple years ago when mod activity was lower. It was the other commenters who chastised and downvoted the violent psychopath. Nowadays what the mods mean by incivility is simply the belittlement of someone’s argument. Sometimes the truth is served by belittling nonsense. It’s possible that the ambiguous definition of incivility is cover for ulteriorly, personally, or arbitrarily motivated bannings. I’m not sure, I’ve never wanted to be a hall monitor.
Over-moderation has perhaps resulted in some casualties of quality commenters such as TheQStrategy and RoofTopTendies.
Yeah, that is a good description of what happened to my original GAW account, for example. In response to the last ban, I simply switched over to TS and X and did not look back (it was nothing to do with a weird topic - it was literally for disagreeing with a mod's post).
I recently started this new GAW account, but it is a distant 3rd place... which is the opposite of how it was before I was driven to look elsewhere.
Driving people away with the "Officer Cartman" mod bullshit creates a downward spiral of less content, giving people less of a reason to bother checking GAW... the mods might want to learn from those mistakes and not repeat them going forward.
Whatever. It does not matter that much anymore, to be honest. X and TS are both pretty good.
In light of your subsequent prioritization of ex-twitter, what do you think of the conspiracy theory that dubious bans from GAW are nudges towards the larger digital battlefield?
If that was their objective - it certainly worked very well.
These days GAW is basically an aggregator of posts on X and TS, which is why I skim it once in a while... sometimes I see some things from people I don't follow myself, etc.
So from that perspective, it is useful.
“Sometimes the truth is served by belittling nonsense.”
Well said. All of it.
I get the feeling that you find me to be over-the-top in being anti-migrant, anti-feminist, anti-homosexual, race-realistic, or tribe-noticing. That you might find me jerky but sometimes clever or amusing. Nevertheless, you’re polite to me and you even humor me sometimes. I’m kind of surprised that you got a ban.
It’s funny but it should have been predictable that on a forum of “conspiracy theorists”, a rash of dubious bannings would inspire theorizing on the actual intent. Months back people were speculating that undeserved bans might be nudges towards ex-twitter, to occupy combatted space per the Q plan:
I got a 3 day ban because I want everyone to use English correctly so that we don't all look like illiterate idiots.
The effect of that ban made me realise that I was spending far too much time here for no good reason. My teaching wasn't appreciated and I wasn't learning anything new. So now I spend more time elsewhere, where my input is appreciated. So you can add me to the statistics.
I agree with you about letting the general commentariat judge some of the "troubling" topics, not the mods. I think topics like flat earth are good food for thought in that we must now question EVERYTHING that the cabal media has fed us, and that is part of our mission. Forum-sliding with these topics may be a concern, however.
GoingCamaro and RooftopTendies. Good stuff.
Where’d BQnita go?
