I agree that the body releases toxins through the skin using it as an organ of elimination often resulting in rashes.
In the situation with hives there is an overreaction by the immune system's mast cells to substances or even stress causing the blood vessels to capitulate forming the raised hives and are not necessarily due to being "overloaded with junk" but rather an immune system that overreacts to particular stimuli.
I agree the general condition of the body makes a difference and can be improved by cleansing the body and calming the body through fasting and giving the body a chance to rest and reset.
Only about 20% of people suffer from urticaria ever in their lives and I guarantee you many more than that are overloaded with toxins so while the body benefits from cleansing, I don't believe that is the sole underlying condition that results in skin conditions...especially hives.
I am totally against ever suppressing symptoms because that does drive these conditions deeper into the body...so we agree on that...it is a blessing that people are able to improve a situation without totally understanding all the complicated mechanics involved.
Different toxins come out in different ways, and any one person's accumulated undesirable material will be different from another's. When the body's ongoing regular and backup elimination are overloaded, the material harmful to the body that can't be eliminated gets embedded within the body. Sometimes it will remain without causing symptoms, but if it does cause problems, the problems are generally chronic until a deep detox can be done.

Well, I was trying to be brief.

It seems we mostly agree on the basics.
Yes we do...
