Tefillin, though at least based somewhat out of scripture, give me a bad vibe with their black cubes as well.
Binding scripture to your hand (Deut 6:8) and being symbols between your eyes as a physical reminder are both biblically directed, but why with a black cube?
The Talmud. Read parts of that evil book and tell me if that's from Satan or from God.
I think all of us around here have some sort of discernment. The most basic discernment is to tell if it is from God or from Satan.
I vote it was created by Satan. Jesus did say something about them being of the Synagogue of Satan. He always leaves clues of truth.
Not sure, but I certainly do not like the Black cube and my assumption is that it means one thing and one thing only. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like the universal meaning of evil and Satan.

Tefillin do not come from the Talmud.
However, my point is that what is used as tefillin is not necessarily what was commanded as tefillin.
There definitely look to be very sketchy parts of the Talmud, this is known, but were the black cubes defined there?

Agreed.
