On 4/4/24 I posted a request here asking for prayers regarding the imminent birth of our second child after a difficult pregnancy.
The outpouring of prayers and congratulations from the incredible community of Patriots here blew me and my wife away and things couldn't have gone better at the hospital that day.
I'm happy to announce our little one is safe and sound at home and both baby and mamma are doing great!
THANK YOU for your kind words, congratulations, and most importantly, prayers! The GAW community is one of the best there are and I'm both proud and happy to call this place "home". God bless you fellow Pedes and Patriots!
P.S. If you're ever in need of prayer and/or support, please post your request here. As much as they might try to isolate us or give us the impression that we're alone or the minority, we AREN'T! There are millions of us out there and I'd be honored to pray for each and every one of you.
Great news and congrats to you freebass! Enjoy your 2nd blessing.
Thank you! I love being a Dad and my only major concerns are about 15 years down the road. I don't want to go to prison, but I'm not scared of it either. If some punk harms one of my girls, I won't be the type to "let it all play out" in the legal system...
...Nor should you, especially with the "legal system" in place now. I love being a father too, and its the best thing I've ever had to do in my life! I have a son tho (age 12), not daughters. If we raise 'em right, hopefully they're never in harms way. Hopefully. Lots of nutjobs out there for sure. Only advice would be NEVER stop parenting. Stay involved every minute, every hour and every day. And make sure they know you're the rock they can always lean on and trust.
Congrats again!
That's what grandparents are for ;).
Anything happens to my grands I will be the one seeking Justice, it's already been decided.
My parents had 7 daughters and 1 son. There was always a baseball bat by the front door. Once, my date asked me if my dad played baseball. I said, "No, why do you ask?" (It made the guys think twice about doing anything.) Congrats on your beautiful girls.
I raised two daughters. When a new boy would come to the door the first thing I would say to them is that Ive been to prison and I am not afraid to go back. That put the proper fear into their souls.
Well done Dad! 👏
This is the way all Dad's should be! 👏
