Just put down ours yesterday. It was heartbreaking but she was in pain, lethargic.

I’m so sorry, fren. I just had my pit die in September. I still miss him and think of him every day. He just turned 15 in August. He died with us at his side. I couldn’t put him down. I carried his backside with a sling for over two months. I’m relieved that yours is no longer suffering. It’s the hardest part of loving your furry kids.
I'm sorry. It hurts so much I know. We are digging a grave right now for one of our babies. It's like a bad dream.

Again, I hate to be that guy but think about what you’re saying.
You can give encouragement and reassurance without telling someone they will be reunited with their pet. Animals do not have souls.. humans were made in God’s image.
If we are to be faithful servants to God’s word we need to make sure we get basic facts right..
I don't pretend to know Our Father's plan for us but MANY people who've had Near Death Experiences report seeing their pets and other animals.
I know in my heart that God doesn't take away anything in the next life that we have in this life.We are His Beloved Children. Our Heavenly future is full of blessings...
