Yep. Ty for the video. At least one guy exchanged mags. And then showed a severe muscle memory mistake…he collects his magazine in the exchange. Have you ever been to a combat pistol training course? If you ever, EVER, try to collect your magazine in any fashion during or preceding an engagement, prepare to get singled out and yelled at. You are to never, collect or “save” your magazine in any form or fashion. You can collect those later..and always, ALWAYS off the ground. This create the correct hustle memory. Even target practice at home…msg drops to the ground, always. So as I’ve said, untrained, or even worse, trained poorly.
The video I was shown were the cops out in LA or somewhere over there. Where the two guys were completely body armored up. Killed several police officers. And the worse image on the video is the police officer collecting his empty shell casing off the ground after emptying his gun. Why would he do that? Because that what he was supposed to do at the police facility shooting arena. They are made to collect their shell casings, or face punishment. And that got him killed that day. Armored guy walked right around the vehicle and shot him. Muscle memory is all you have in those incidents. And, just like this officer, he has a bad habit. So Ty for posting. It’s another example to show others what NOT to do.
Right - because no cops carry more than the one mag in their weapons. SMH
Did you see any exchanging mags after the dump? Me either.
Try again.
This is from another post on GAW around the same time as this one.
