“For example, an Arab Christian may still use the word “Allah” to denote God, but his understanding of that term would be starkly different from a Muslim, for the Christian would recognize that Jesus Christ is God (Allah) whereas the Muslim would never consider that connotation. Thus, denotatively the word “allah” merely refers to “god,”
Interesting enough. The priest Mari, most know now as the one who was attacked recently, showed in the Islamic Bible the name of Jesus, as the Messiah. Literally word for word “Jesus the Messiah”. So, for me, this was a shocker. My view is no Muslim wound see Jesus this way, yet it’s right there in their “Bible”. I guess similar to Christianity, there are some various differences in beliefs?
Muslims are very confused in their beliefs, which makes sense since their entire movement is based on mohammed saying whatever he wanted as long as it gained more bandits for his tribe or fighters for his armies.
To them, Jesus of Nazareth was not God, but only a prophet (to them, he didn't die on the cross and didn't provide you a path to heaven), but they also believe that Jesus is going to come back in the final days as messiah to lead the muslims (them exclusively, despite their heresy) to victory and world domination.

Yes, Christianity is about treading a higher path, islam is about conquest and slavery.
“To them, Jesus of Nazareth was not God, but only a prophet”
That’s what I thought until Priest Mari, the one who was attacked recently, pointed to their “Bible”, showed the print, and it goes word for word, Jesus the Messiah. Which I was shocked to see. The fact that Muslims call Jesus a prophet goes directly against what’s written in their own Koran or “Bible”.
But as you said, Muslims are confused about their beliefs.
From your link.
