I would not mind a large house, but any house where I need to hire (permanent) help becomes too large for me IMO.
I would love to have a legacy home for me and my future children, where I can also have a library, a workshop, an office, etc. but if I need to hire a staff that just becomes too much.
I know what you mean. It makes you very poor. For instance, everyone in my house is poor. I'm poor, the wife is poor, the butler is poor, the cook is poor, the maids are poor, my valet is poor, all the footmen are poor and as for the gardeners ...
