No, we don't deify Mary. We ask for her intercession as you or I would ask our Earthly mothers for help. So what if we call priests father? In Matthew 23, Jesus is reprimanding the clergy who are not following His Father's teachings. You can't nit pick and apply phrases. Do you not have a bio father? Were you made in a lab?
Confession is like therapy but free.
Q said not to divide and I'm afraid that is exactly what you and others are doing on this thread.
The funny thing is I don't see Catholics here putting down Protestant faiths. My attitude is we all believe in Jesus and God if we're Christians.
Jesus said, "For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."
I can't tell how much I have been yearning for another Catholic to bring fourth this defense.
Stalwart and impregnable.
Thank you.
Hugs and you're welcome! Through Christ all things are possible."
Why would you pray to anyone but Jesus for intercession?
You feel like you can't go to Jesus, so you go to his mom in the hopes that she'll ask him for you? Lol
I'm not nit picking. I'm reading the verses as they're written.
By no means am I an expert on Catholicism, but there are pretty glaring issues with it that are hard to overlook.
Being born and raised Catholic all my “Christian” friends that I've known throughout my life have been the most “judgy.” They are always hypercritical of Catholicism. Ironically, I don’t judge them because that’s not up to me to do so.
I do however equate their judgmental “criticism” to that of a irrational-commie-leftie... which, if we are all “in this together” is quite strange... all things considered... WWG1WGA... but not if you’re a Catholic!
Onwards and upwards frens!
We say what Jesus says and if that is judging so be it. We say what we say out of HIS LOVE FOR YOU. Hell is designed for demons. You love your religion more than you love Jesus. However the Gospel will be preached until Jesus returns. Receiving salvation is for your benefit. Satan nor his pope gives a damn about your eternal soul. That's the message. Telling the truth is not popular in satanic circles.
Jesus gave her to us as our mother from the cross. Among His last words. Entrusted us to her and gave her to us as our mother in the person of St. John.
He gave her to John to be her covering. As Jesus was Mary's Head of household and he didn't want to leave her homeless after his crucifixion.
John didn't pray to her. He wasn't a simp.
Show me the scripture.
John 19: 26-27 "When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home."
Seriously, did you not read my post? Have you never asked your mother for help? Of course, I can go to Jesus and do everyday. Mary is my Heavenly mother and if I'm having problems with family, I ask her for help just as I would my earthly mother if she was still alive.
Show me scripture to support that.
Jesus says to come to Him and ask him directly. Anything else is of the devil.
Jesus is Lord Q is not Jesus. Q is a tool. Jesus will never unite with Satan. Light will always dispel darkness. There will always be division between the things of God and the things of satan. Wise men understand this. The Sword of the Spirit is a dividing instrument. Christians pray for the souls caught up in the delusional dead work of the RCC. Mary said to do What Jesus tells you to do. Jesus never calls mary mother. Mary is asleep and no longer a virgin as she had other children after Jesus. Rcc is nothing but idolatry and Gaia worship. Many ex Catholic There are no prayers to Jesus in the rosary. Jesus ain't gonna unite with that mess.
No, Mary did not have other children.
The whole Rosary is about Jesus.

Read the Gospel. Matthew 12:47-48. Refutes your opening statement. Jesus says not to chant repetitive prayers. The Book of Matthews is a great place to begin learning truth.
