Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Interesting video of a Christian scientist refuting the lies of the Flat Earth psyop, in which he addresses how scriptures are misused to support that inane theory of our universe.

I saved to watch later. I love Answers in Genesis videos.
I only recently discovered Answers in Genesis. I learned how the "Big Bang Theory" as it relates to the formation of the planets, the moon, etc. is not settled at all. Some moons rotate the opposite direction as one would assume. And of course, not only is our moon is the only one that faces us as it orbits, but it fits perfectly for an eclipse. I saw another video that showcases so many of the evolutionary discoveries that have been false alarms due to confirmation bias. Piltdown Man is the most famous example of scientific fraud used to support evolution, but there have been many more. Neanderthals were proven to be just humans and we never heard about that evolutionary theory being debunked. Stuff we learned in textbooks decades ago have been quietly debunked without us knowing.

Very true! There’s one video about dragons. I think it’s part of the dinosaur video and they have a small dragon clip. The dinosaur video is very good. They give scripture about the dinosaurs living when people lived. Again something they lied about. I believe scientists were paid or blackmailed to dis credit the Bible. About twenty years ago I watched a video, a Christian Scientist from Texas saying the flood was real. He gave in depth details about the earths canopy before the flood, compared it to the face shield on the astronauts helmets for fake moon landing🤣 couldn’t resist. Also the limestone caves in Texas shows markings of water at different levels. The Grand Canyon is a perfect example of massive flood. It wasn’t carved by glaciers. I wish I could remember his name. Shoot It was probably more like 30 years ago. I saw him on Kenneth Copeland, I watched him daily, had no idea he was evil.
Isn't Kenneth Copeland the guy who was praying for vaccines on his show? I think most televangelists are evil grifters. I grew up with my parents watching TBN and looking back I can see how they were a bunch of phonies and crooks. Like that guy with the hair helmet who speaks with an accent, who waves his coat around at people. I don't buy that. I know God heals as my mom was healed of the deadliest kind of breast cancer like a surge of electricity that flowed through her body. But to make it into an assembly line as if God needs to clock in and work for these people... I don't buy it.
I only recently learned that the King James Bible spoke of unicorns a few times. Wild.
