The fucking USSR was a "democracy" ... you usually had two choices. One that TASS recommended, and one that would certainly get you on a list.
Iraq was a democracy ... Saddam won with 100% of the vote 100% of the time (or close to that).
North Korea is known as "The Democratic People's Republic of North Korea"
Fucking Democracy is stupid. You need checks and balances. The whole "50%+1" on anything doesn't fucking work. It's fine for it to be a component of a country's government, not the whole ball of wax.

Im not sure who is down voting this. It seems a very reasonable analysis of what/who has “democracy”.
