Isn’t there an age limit to enlisting in the military? 39 yrs old seems too old to join. I guess recruitment is so low they are taking any age & anybody.
Army is 35 without a waiver. It may be different for Guard or Reserves. Other branches allow up to 39. Also may be higher for officers, depending on MOS. But she is sporting the rank of PFC (E3). Which is uncommon to be in boot camp as a PFC. Plus she already has her graduation photo. BAffling.
I started the Army at 30 as a PFC because of my prior college education. I don’t remember if my score on the ASVAB test might also have had something to do with it. They said I scored high enough I could pretty much pick any MOS I wanted. Also, I doubt that’s a graduation photo as we had formal pics taken in processing before we were ever shipped to basic.
I would agree. I went in as an E2 for having some college. We didn’t get photos like that. We just had our mugshot for the jacket. Maybe things have changed a little since I went in.
I was prior service from USAF to USCG! I was out 4 1/2 years and then joined the Coast Guard. They sent me to Basic Training but only for Coast Guard indoctrination and I had to drop a rate to E3!
Going through basic at 39...........................
In my AO the cut-off age is 30, people get progressively harder to order into doing stupid shit as they age, 30 is about the point where we start humoring morons before going right back to doing things that actually make sense once they are gone.....
Draft of men and women will leave the young children and elderly behind with greater than 20,000,000 illegals (terrorists, gang members and mentally ill). Sounds like a win, not for us but the NWO. Then we will have a food shortage, gas shortage, polluted water, impaired infrastructure, polluted water, CBDC, 15 minute cities, and another plandemic. Sounds like a plan!
I’m sure the doctors are baffled.

MOS?
35E-radio comsec repair I should have flown combat helicopters like I wanted to as a kid.
Maybe prior service?
Doubt it…not going through basic as a PFC. Possible, but doubt it.

Yeah, I’ve heard of that too.
No age limit to "SUDDENLY".
You can bet when ww3 happens they’ll take any age and anybody. TBH I’m expecting a draft and women (of all kinds🙄) will be included.
Reqruiter stations are equipped with a mirror for basic eligibility.

Never would have made it through Boot at 39, I barely made it at 19
They're taking 39 year olds into the Army? That's news to me.
