Yeah, but that doesn't mean you instantly forgive and forget. If he's "working his ass off", great. When you wrong someone, and you realize that you wronged them, you should not expect to be forgiven so readily -- especially to the degree and the number of people he wronged.

Some things take time and effort to fix.
