Please remember that because of free will even God's love was insufficient to prevent division. So, never be afraid that everyone isn't on your side, some of those that aren't serve the darkness. You are not expected to do what God himself could not (because of a choice he made, and yes, God could make something so heavy even he couldn't lift it, and he could also lift it as well, because he is transcendent).

Christianity is a geosynchronous open portal between lower and higher domain. Muslims thinking they need to bow and pray in the direction of mecca is silly. The line between God and man is open at all times..so one can be in the spirit all times if they allow it to be.

A Christian can be in the Spirit on all occasions.

Revelation 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Jesus Christ left the door opened in heaven. Through Faith in the Spirit we encounter the throne of God, where Jesus Christ speaks from.

Revelation 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Jesus Christ is in the midst of the throne in each Christian.

Revelation 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

The throne is mentioned throughout Revelation and the Christian finds life in it.

Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
