Spirituality can still end up in Gnosticism/Luciferianism.
What matters is faith in Jesus Christ.
Paul explains in Romans how believers with a weaker faith might have more ritualistic practices, while those with a stronger faith don't, but both are okay and are to accept one another.
Gnosticism is knowing, luciferianism should be the following of the bearer of light, the morning star. So I guess they might be one and the same . Depending upon your interpretation of ancient greek. Personally i accept the Christ as the master, our teacher, the fathers son. I also believe he has been on this earth many times through the ages trying to lead mankind back to father god.
You attracted a bunch of haters, with a downvote count like that.
It has a poetic ring to it but it doesn't match up with the accounts of Jesus and his own words. I am open to the possibility of anything that doesn't contradict scripture. There are plenty of things that do seem more likely, such as Jesus travelling in the missing years of his young adulthood, which many Christians do dismiss without even considering simply because the church doesn't agree.
👍
Religion is man's attempt to please God on man's terms. God is not a religion. He is the Sovereign Creator, a spiritual being. A relationship with Him is a spiritual one while one is still a physical being.
Christianity is the way of a Father with His children. Religion is man made effort to garner what God has given by grace. Seek the blessor and the blessing follows.
Yeah, I don't do religion of any sort.
Not buying it.
Right, could have just said religion is the law and spiritually is faith and left it at that, but instead proceeds to create rules and laws that separate religion from spiritually lol

TellsTruth- you are so correct. Like I have pontificated for years on Patriot Boards, the Patriot movement is filled with many types of people, but there are loathsome individuals that seem to want to create the same stuffy, uptight, closed minded world here, that exists on the Left. I speak of the constant preachiness of certain Christians. They even wear this distinction as something to be proud of - not getting that they are just as fucked up as those they persecute on the Left for being progenitors of group think, monoculture, etc. I cannot stand these people. They know very little about their own religion, its history, or the true esoteric foundations of human spirituality. They also conform their take on science to their extremely limiting Creation based worldview, and seem to be stuck in Newtownian Physics out of fear of the Quantum Field Theories that suggest and implicate a world that just does not lie within the ignorant, self limited view of many of the mostly small recent upstart Protestant sects, but found equally in the bigger Protestant and Orthodox and Catholic world views as well. I salute their love of country but their ignorance about religion, spirituality and other cultural views is astounding.
Spirituality has only the rules one applies to it enabling you to do whatever you want. A tranny can think its spiritual to push a kid into genital mutilation etc. its unfettered human will. I think I'll pass.
Christ is King of kings
They go hand in hand.
With over 9000 recognized religion, everyone seems to think their’s is the right on. When asked, their answer is, because the Bible says so. Wow, there’s food for thought.
Personally I think all religions excepting Islam has part of the big story right but not all. I just can't accept Islamic teachings, only thing I know good about Islam is that it did bring monotheistic belief to the sons of Ishmael. The story and teachings of the Christ are not simple but rather complicated. I tell people to get a red letter bible and read the red. The rest shouldn't be ignored but the Christ was the teacher, the master, the fathers son. What is the greatest commandment was asked, he replied love the father god with all your heart and your neighbor as youself. Simple yet complex.
I disagree, God's Word is not difficult to understand at all. What people actually struggle with is believing it. Believing is a verb.
and Believing is not knowing which is a noun.
actually its a verb too but i agree with you in spirit :-P ........you don't have to believe when you find the truth because you know.
