I don't think the helicopter in this post is the one he was actually on during the crash today. I saw some articles that show a Bell helicopter and claim that was the one. Not wanting to trust the journalism of the AP (Associated Parasites), I did some of my own research real quick.
He was attending the inauguration of the Qizqaleh Si dam before the crash. We can see a photo gallery of this event from Iran's official media source and at the end of it they show 3 photos of a blue and white helicopter possibly a Bell 412 which they refer to as the helicopter that carries the president.

Blue and white are the colours of Bristow Helicopters. Plus the helo shown here looks like a Bell 212, 412's have four rotors.
