I can go both ways on this. Mites only live for about three weeks so if they infested the product at the factory then there should be lots of dead ones and lots of waste in the package and the ramen would be a different color.
Chances are he opened the package a day or two before and left it in an area with mites.
The ramen is cooked before being packaged so if they were infesting the flour they would not have survived the cooking process.
However, that being said, I had an ex-girlfriend who used to work for Souplantation (RIP) and she said it was very common for things like sunflower seeds and those crunchy Asian noodles to have bugs actually fly out of the bags when they were opened. Not the croutons though.
I guess the only real way to know is to get a microscope ourselves. There are good reviews on the cheap $40 ones so I might have to get one and check all my food.
I would imagine though that if this was true and now knowing how cheap a microscope can be, there would be many more videos about it but there aren't.
I bought a bag of wheat berries and let them sit in my basement for a few months. When I was ready to use them I heard a crunching sound from within the bag. I opened the bag and noticed small black bug crawling around on the berries. I figured I'd try some diatomaceous earth and sprinkled in into the bag. After a couple of days I didn't hear any crunching sounds coming from within the bag. I then scooped some of the wheat berries out and sifted through them and noticed all the bugs were dead. Needless to say, keep an eye on your preps lest the bugs get into them and do their damage.
I hope people inspect the food they. eat well. If you can pick a bug up with a tweezer, you can make out with your bare eye and something is crawling on it.
No wonder my Walmart was getting rid of them this morning. Thirty cents a package. Shelves were bare, so I guess someone got to that stash and stocked up. As far as the bug, who cares, in a grid down situation they will become needed protein.
This right here. The people freaking out will call you a fool for drinking bottled water when there is no water to be found. Muh micro plastics, okay you die and I'll drink muh water. Micro plastics and high sodium content, when shtf all fuqs go out the window.

I wouldn't call ramen cooked.... You can just put it in hot (but less than boiling) water for 4-5 minutes...
There is a standard for:
The amount of rat shit slowed to be in sugar.
Because the Moe it around on concrete floors with front end loaders before it gets put into the paper bag....
Just prspective...
