I think the states should be autonomous, that's how this republic was set up. If California wants to kill unborn children and legalize pedophilia they should be able to, but I wouldn't live there. The civil war started because some states didn't like what other states were doing. The federal government was not ever supposed to be supreme power, it is supposed to be the NATO of the states.
