I'm not arguing that the steel wasn't weakened... My point was that building 7 was a controlled demolition... The edit stated that the structure would definitely be damaged by the heat of the jet fuel... Also from all the videos I've seen, the twin towers came straight down... If you have that much debris coming straight down, of course it's going to push things outward... it doesn't change the fact that the towers came straight down...
They were swaying from the impact of the plane just like they were designed to do to compensate for the high winds at that altitude... You would think they would have collapsed in either of those directions... Good debate btw kek...
I agree with you on that point... Btw, you also have to take into consideration the resonance created by the "impact..." It would have rung the central supports like tuning forks...

What direction should we have expected them to fall?
What are the other options other than straight down.

Good debate
Cheers.
Right. The impact of the planes was a massive, massive force.
But that like 45 minutes before the collapse. The swaying would be over.
Btw as I type this, I'm on bus right next to world trade plaza.
What force other than gravity would affect how they fell.
I had heard some folks who thought they would go over sideways like a tree with a sold trunk, but I think that has issues too
